Jiraiya and Naruto’s Funny Moments Pt. 1: Jiraiya’s Smokin’ Something…

Jiraiya and Naruto have got to be the funniest duo next to Kakashi and Gai. I love watching their funny moments, which I did several times just now. It’s like a good song (or really bad pop song) that sticks in your head all day long. Instead, for me, it’s anime scenes.

From Naruto episode 53, here’s part one of Jiraiya and Naruto’s funny moments.

Lost Dreams: Orochimaru & Tsunade

As I watched Naruto Episode 95-96, I noticed I wanted to write about the similar traits characters have in Naruto. When Tsunade hears Orochimaru say the same words as her about becoming the Hokage, Tsunade gives insight on Orochimaru’s character, I believe, since they uttered the exact same words. Sure, people can say the same things but mean differently; however, with the elusiveness around Orochimaru’s character, I believe that Kisimoto did this on purpose. I feel like Kisimoto is playing favoritism here with his characters! Tsk tsk! Just kidding! Jiraiya’s Women Troubles

Jiraiya is a rather interesting character. From his actions to his slightly obnoxious personality, it sometimes makes me think “How in the world is Jiraiya one of the Legendary Sannin?”. We know that Tsunade contributed with her strength and medical ninjitsu during the war. Orochimaru was naturally a “genius”, so we know that he probably contributed a lot during the war, too. But what did Jiraiya do? We see that he “adopted” the Ame Orphans and trained them in ninjitsu, etc.

Naruto’s Character Traits

Today, after an extremely busy week last week, I wanted to chill for a little bit today before work, so I was watching the episode where Jiraiya teaches Naruto about the three shinobi taboos. While watching it, I thought Naruto’s fat frog wallet was adorable, and it fits Naruto’s personality well since he resembles Jiraiya in many ways. Now that Naruto can do the frog summoning like Jiraiya, the wallet is almost like a clue/hint/foreshadow for Naruto’s frog summoning later.

The Springtime of Youth!

Man… I really am a fan of Gai-sensei and Rock Lee… I think they’re just so funny and outrageous. It’s a nice contrast between the calm Kakashi. There’s also a contrast in intelligence, too… Gai kicking Jiraiya because he thought he was the enemy… OMG, I busted my gut over that. It was too hilarious!

Here’s a short clip of that scene, too:
