All right, one of the best romance, shoujo manga in the world is coming right up! Hana ni Arashi or Flower in a Storm by Takagi Shigeyoshi is one of my favorite manga stories to read. I’ve read it so many times, and I also collected the two volumes. It’s a short and sweet manga, and it’s about a girl, Riko, who’s trying to live an ordinary life, but she has a special ability — super flexibility — that allows her to do stuntman-like moves, like jumping to the ground from the third level of the school… So, yeah, it’s understandable on why she wants to live an ordinary lifestyle and not stand out! 🙂 And then there’s Ran, the rich son of the Tachibana enterprise and who’s also known as one of the best young businessmen in the world. He meets Riko unexpectedly one day and falls in love with her right then and there. So, after that “fated meeting,” Ran tracks down Riko, looks up her personal data and makes her his wife without her consent. Awww… young love, people! Well, that’s when Riko’s peaceful life is swept up into a storm, and she has lots of funny, dramatic, crazy moments with Ran from then on. Of course, people, there’s a happy ending! Not without difficult, near-death circumstances though…  Continue reading Flower In A Storm/Hana ni Arashi by Takagi Shigeyoshi Full Manga Review

Beast Master Chapter 4 Summary & Review

In chapter four, we find out that Leo is very good at cooking! Yay! Gotta love a man who cooks (I know I do and I have one!). This chapter is also where we discover a little more about Leo’s past: His mother passed away when he was 8, and his father has been missing for many years. He was given a small harmonica necklace as a memento of his mother’s spirit and father’s teachings, so he treasures it very much. Despite all that, Leo has always been kind! That’s a good boy! Hah. I think. in the beginning of this chapter, Yuiko discovers more of her feelings for Leo, especially when he goes shirtless while Yuiko fixes a button on his shirt… Continue reading Beast Master By Kyousuke Motomi Manga Chapter 4-6 Summary & Review

Beast Master By Kyousuke Motomi Chapter 1-3 Manga Review & Summary

Beast Master Manga Chapter 1-3 Review.

Beast Master is a 6-chapter romance manga about a 2nd-year high school girl, Kubozuka Yuiko, who is completely obsessed with animals, and a very beast-like boy named Leo, who has been isolated from society and lived on a remote island for a long time due to family difficulties, and how their friendship develops into love through lots of obstacles. This manga is also by Dengeki Daisy’s creator, Kyousuke Motomi, and if you’re a fan of Dengeki Daisy, you’ll love Beast Master too! It’s a really cute, innocent manga. By the way, this review contains spoilers, so please read with caution. This review/summary post features the first three chapters of Beast Master! The next three chapter reviews/summaries will be coming soon.

Hana-To-Akuma-Chapter-1

This is a review on Hana To Akuma by Oto Hisamu chapter one part one only. Part two of chapter one will be next!

Hana to Akuma is about a great demon, Vivi (although spelled “Bibi” in the first few chapters of the manga) who’s bored of the Demon World and goes to Earth to live instead. He has a house full of demon servants, but one day, he picks up an abandoned baby girl in the front of his house when he comes back home from town. On a whim, Vivi decides to raise the girl and named her Hana after her smile, which is like a flower. After 14 years, he’s become quite attached to her, and so has everyone else in the mansion.  Continue reading Hana To Akuma Chapter 1 Part One: The Devil And His Flower
